Mission

The mission of the Association for Historic Preservation and Operation of Antique Equipment is to help ensure the safe operation of steam generated equipment in the present and for future generations through research, training, educating, counseling, and testing procedures. To foster a working relationship with state and governing bodies. And for the exchange of information and mutual assistance regarding preservation and operation of historical antique equipment.



2019 Year Highlights and Show Reports

AHFP continues to grow with members in 10 eastern states. This includes 8 show organizations with their thousands of members, which are also participating in our membership and sharing programs that AHFP offers.

The Maryland Steam Historical society held it's third Steam School utilizing AHFP training material in May of 2019.
